I hauled in two cords of eastern cottonwood today. Several big rounds needed to be noodle cut in half in order for me to lift them onto the tailgate and load into the truck. The bark was starting to fall off. These will rest and dry in the sun for at least two months before I split them into logs for campfires. After drying, it splits beautifully.

Campers love buying my bundles and burning them, about 9 to 10 logs per bundle, almost twice as much wood as sold at the grocery stores and gas stations. I sell each for the same price or less. It's a business and people love what I sell, especially the heat and flames that eastern cottonwood produces. Simple as that.
