But should be able to after a few measurements. I'm a believer in keeping the kits in tack'd... but I never miss a measurement.. ever! If you only broke one ring, why not go with just one ring... more RPM and wouldn't have made much of a difference.
Go with only one ring? Are your serious? Dang, I never even thought of doing that.

Yes, some small engines have pistons that only have one ring, but I was trying to maintain the 046 standard that Stihl made for the 046 in 1997. If the second, lower ring is not required, then why is it there?
