piston for a husky 350

i need to order a piston and ring kit for my 350. looking at baileys the show a44mm. but my jug says 45 on top .do they make a 44mm and 45mm? need some advice please . thanks in advance to the gurus

Yes, early 350's were 44. Later 350's and 353's were 45. Go with what is stamped on your jug.

did i understand you trashed the saw? man this was a killer saw till it was gassed.could have new piston andrings for 50.bucks .could not imagine just chukkin it .:bang:

Missing coil also.Will keep it for parts for my other 350!

If you are going through the trouble of rebuilding it, go ahead and put a flat top 353 piston in it. No point putting a dished piston back in.
