I am going to ask it here since I am not a tree expert. I'm a lawn care and landscape guy who has done light palm tree cleaning for years. At one time we did a lot of them, but in recent years we just do a few here in there. I used Echo Aggressors, which were basically extended trimmers with a reciprocating cutter. They worked fairly well, but they are both getting old and it's a lot of effort to get them, and keep them running at times. Therefore, I am looking for something more simple.

Is the Silky HAYAUCHI a decent candidate for this kind of work, or is it too fragile. How about the Hayate? If neither of these would be a good choice, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.
