Ok guys I am seeking some guidance on porting my 365 XT. This is my first time porting a saw. Here is what I have done so far.

So far I have blended the intake to favor the lower intake. Re-shaped the upper x-torq ports so the air doesn't crash into a flat wall. And worked on the lower transfers.

Next I want work on the exhaust and this is where I am stuck. I am planing on widening the exhaust port.

Do I widened it from the cylinder to the muffler?

How do I widened it evenly on both sides of the exhaust port? I can't figure out a way to mark it inside the cylinder so I am grinding both sides of the exhaust port evenly.

Thanks

I order Carbide Burr shape B and D in 3" length to reach all the way back into the cylinder. It should be here in couple days.

Now I need to figure out how to map out the current exhaust port size to make it bigger.
