Is this a cool saw to hang on to? It actually runs quite nice. Starts on 5 pulls and has excellent compression. It is the simple non strato and does not have a chain brake. From what I can tell its from the 199x era and has a 36cc engine. Only reason I ask is I expected it to run like garbage and it doesnt!

Not mine but from google:

It's a good saw for the light duty use it's intended. There are really only 2 engine sizes for those saws, 35cc and 42cc, the marketing people give different sizes depending on how long the bar is. Should be a emission label on it that gives the actual engine size. When you get one that's had little use, the important thing to do is set the high speed adjustment to where it should be (richer) as these saws come with a factory setting that is too lean and the engines self destruct quickly. If all the fuel lines, primer feature and carb are performing the way they should, a simple muffler mod and a decent non-safety semi-chisel chain turns it into a saw with decent cutting ability, just end up with tingly hands after an hour of use. Easy saw to work on and the parts are cheap.
