Hi all. So tonight I picked up a non running Poulan P3314 saw. Unfortunately at the time of purchase, there was no air filter. With that said, I will get a filter no problem. However, I now see that there is an air filter cover. Out of curiosity, however important is that particular cover? Meaning, if I put the new filter in and secure it well, would there be any problems? This is not my main saw but rather for a few small branches here and there. I will look for one once I get the saw running, but do not think I will have much luck finding one locally. And in the meantime, is there something I can use as a filter till I can get out and find one next week? Thank you.
