The simplest way is to use a brass rod and smack it with a hammer.It's a left hand thread and a little tap will loosen it and then you just spin it off.

aslo take muffler off and stick a a length of rope into the cylinder then use the method Al described.

Why not through the plug hole with the rope. Little easier.

muffler outlet is bigger easier too stuff rope into. just my bad eye sight makes the job easier for me

If you take the muffler off,omit a few pieces when you put it back together.They breathe a bit better that way.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I did the rope in the plughole trick,one little tap and it spun right off,,So the conversion is done,Now I get to go test it out..Thanks again
