purple triangle traps for ash borer

Well I don't know if they are in our county now but the traps are up... I noticed two dead ashes in the woods last fall I thought it was just because but I guess it must have been the stupid beetles!

yea, they put em up here and we have none yet, kid said was to see how far they have spread. And 133 trees were logged down the road so lots -o- tops to cut.

I have spotted these traps here in central West Virginia along Route 50. I started noticing the traps about a few weeks ago but I wasn't sure what they were for. There are quite a few of them that I have seen, so I hope that they are effective because logging is a big part of the economy here in West Virginia.
