Ques. about old saw. BURNS

I collect old saws and I have a bow saw built by the Burns Tool Co.
The saw model is a 106 ser. # 40208. The engine has a different model and serial # (58002/ 1788). Can anyone give any info. on this saw?????????

Check out Mike Acres' site, it has some info on your saw. Bookmark his site, too, it is quite the reference. It looks like your saw has a 106cc Westbend motor - that'll get some folks' attention! Here's the info:

I'm currently selling a model 200 on ebay if you need some parts for your saw... The one I'm selling, as you will be able to see, isn't in the "best" shape, but it does run after some minor changes on the saw (rebuilt carb, replaced lower fuel line and replaced spark plug)...

I couldn't find any info "anywhere" on the 200 model, but like yours it has a serial and model number for the engine and a serial and model number for the saw itself.
