Hello all, did any version of the Husqvarna 272 have a "stop" decal above the stop switch?
Along with that, was there ever a 272 grey top color scheme, ala' mid-'80's model 61?
The internet searching I did indicates "no" to both of those questions. However, I believe the definitive answer will be found on this forum here. I appreciate any info you can offer. Thanks!

All XP, (or SE) saws on this chassis had orange tops starting with the original 162SE. Grey tops were only on the 61 and the short lived 66. Early 61's had white tops.

The stop decal was only on the early saws as well, which had the black switches. The red switches had the "stop" sign and arrow imprinted on the switch itself, as is still used on some models today.

Thanks Spike60, that agrees with my understanding and the limited research I did of this (confusing) run of the '61 family' of models.
Appreciate the quick response. Thanks!
