Question on carb kits

Are the Walbro/Zama carb kits you order directly from China, as good as the original manufacturers carb kits?

I doubt it.
Besides China is a big place. Just because someone here has had good luck with something from China,
is not a good indicator that what you will buy will be good.
I bought a starter for a Husky recently from a Chinese ebayer, absolute junk. Holes wouldn't even line up.

The few I have used were OK but the fuel lines dissolved in gasoline and I have seen some lines shrink badly.

Also, on some Stihl models, a new carb is not that high, which carb are you needing a kit for?

Walbro WT 628
Zama C1Q

Yeah, get the k20-wat kits. You get both size needles.

Need to know what the Zama is for. Those kits can be high.

Zama is for a BG 65 blower

Thats why I was looking at the china kits.

I would go through a carb and re-use the old kit before I would put in a china kit.

I'll have to see what the gaskets look like. I may be able to.
