Hi all,

I am looking for some advice on what I guess is called "urban logging". I have roughly 40 tall pines that I need removed. I figure, if a logger could come in and fell and remove them, they can have them. This saves me money (don't have to pay to remove them) and the logger can make some money too. Seems to me like a win - win situation.

Any advice?

Thank you very much.

Do you have a plan to deal with the limbs and tops from 40 trees? A logger isn't going to want to touch those without you writing a check. The only savings I can see for you is a portion of the log value as a partial offset. Of course this assuming that these are notch and drops with good access for large equipment.

If you are still interested in removing them then PM me as I work in that area some.
