I had a "Green Machine" whipper snipper about 10 years ago, it was a good little performer never had any trouble with it.

Only 3 X SP118 known to exist.Rare in Australia /rarer worldwide.

Would think the Dolmar CT G ( gear drive ) - another world rarey.

Or the 090G AV newer model ....none known to exist yet.Only seen crankcase for one -

Mark was extremely fortunate to find that one

Just a badge difference(really a Pro Mac 700) but to me they are rarely seen.

To a Poulan guy, I'm thinking the 8500, so many of us that take shine to the older Poulans are allways saying thats one I would like to have, but we never seem to find..LOL

Gregg,

Solo Twin was mid 60's. Old enough but not so old that parts can't be found, luckily for me. Mine is getting new rings, condensers, and coated pistons. :)

Echo twin was 80's though, correct? But while rare, I don't know if they fall into the "rarest of the rare" category. An Echo twin in John Deere livery probably would, though.

that's interesting: echo doesn't publish hp figures on US site, but publishes a 116cc saw producing 9.4HP; an 880 (123cc) is rated at 8.4HP.

i'm figuring that the big echo is not EPA certified.
as such, i'd suppose that it can make big power easier than emissions choked saws that are epa certified for sale in the US.

I picked A John Deere 66SV Twin up last week:

Whaddya think?

I'm now the owner of one of the rarest chainsaw's in the world (last 30 years). But I don't have it here yet.

I'd put this saw in the same class as the Brand New w/ box KMS-4 that I have.
