I have a few old saws that the front rubber handle grip has come off of, what's good to replace these with ? Any generic material that folks are using to restore old saws or just make the less slippery to hold in use ?
Bedliner material might work well too.
Stihl handle bar hose works the best.

I bought some of that years ago but never got round to fitting it. Is there any special tricks to getting it on to the bar? It looks like it would be a pain to fit.
Regards
Phil
Maybe locate some of that Plasti Dip Grip Rubber Coating used to dip tool handles in. Bedliner material might work well too.

Yes, that is garden hose on the handle. Stop with the looks..... It was like that when I bought it.
