I have a job installing some later this week. The hard barriers and the bio barriers seem to be about the same price so cost is not an issue. The biobarriers come with a 15 year guarantee so I am assuming they are better since they actually stop root growth. Just want some confirmation that this is the route to go as opposed to the hard panels.

The tree at hand, incidentally, is a massive euc and the owner is concerned about root damage to his house. The barriers would be installed 30-40' from the trunk.

Great Mike, he went with the root barriers. It would of been a shame to cut that beautiful Euc. down. Not to mention the Neighbors protesting.
Congratulations, on your new marriage. May you always be blessed and find happiness. Your Friend , Wade.
