"run in" a 2 stroke ?

heya,

i was wandering how you run in a saw ?
i know how to run in a car engine, but what about a 2 stroke ?

do you just let it idle for 15 mins or so and then start when it is warm ?

tips would be great.

1. Pull cord
2. Pull throttle.
3. Place bar in wood.
4. Repeat last two steps.

I think you will find most saw operators allow the saw to warm up for about 30 seconds before running it wide open throttle.
At least that's what I do and have no problems.
I don't like to put a load on any engine immediately upon starting.

LMAO... I was on my "A" game that day.

Seriously though... just go cut wood. Don't be easy on it either. WOT in the cut. You'll notice a difference after a few tanks. Saw will feel a tad stronger, and not as "tight"...
