Running .404 chain where its not normal

The .404 7-pin rim is just a hair smaller in diameter than the 3/8 8-pin, but the difference is very little. She cuts like a champ with it too. I'll see if I can't get a vid up here somehow of a few cuts in a piece of pine. Saw is still a tad rich as evident in the vid, don't want it screaming too much at this point as she's only seen her 3rd tank. If memory serves she's at 14.5k ish RPMs WOT there. Anyway, somewhere between 14.4-14.7k I don't really remember.... :msp_unsure:

Cut 1 - Normal pressure cutting
Cut 2 - Real light pressure, mostly self feed only
Cut 3 - Pushed hard in the middle
Cut 4 - Just to cut the last cookie off before I have to move the log out

I run 404 chain on my 5400 poulan with a 42 in sprocket nose bar. I like it because of the wide kerf i have less pinching
