Pays to read the manual. I got a used battery chain saw for Christmas . First time using it was yesterday. Chain was dull, wasn’t cutting straight.
of course chain was dull . I sharpen it with file attachment.
I used it and ran battery down.
So it put it on charger. Light was still orange after 5 minutes. What now ! I got the other extra charger that came with it. Tried it. Same thing. Thunder .!
Fortune I had the manuals .
Firust it sayes the charger will not charger a hot battery which mine was from cutting.
I grab the battery and put it in the refrigerator. Do not tell your wife this cause there will be issues .
Anyway need to let the batteries cool down in order to charge them ! That the moral of the stories
