Want to Buy sachs dolmar 120

Can anyone tell me where i can get a barrel for my sachs dolmar 120? thank you

You'll have to find a good used one. I din't believe there are any After market ones made. I have a good P/C but it's for an S I believe and the stroke would be different than the straight 120.(2mm longer plus 2mm bigger bore). I'm sure mine is a 49 mm and you need a 47mm.

hey, from what i have read i think the 120 has a 47mm piston with a 35 mm stroke, and the 120s had a 49mm piston and a 36mm stroke, so i was think even if i could find a 120s barrel and macine 1mm of it to bring it back in spec, do you think that may work?

It may. Not sure how thick the base is without looking. Maybe a spacer like the solos use. Would give you a boost in power.........can we say sleeper!!! Lol

Ya, I think so, it didn't have any markings. But jug measures 49 so I figured it was an s. The p/c will fit my 6000i and make it a 6800i. Was going to rebuild the saw but was missing to many parts so I used parts off it to fix my 120 and parted this one out. Was missing clutch, clutch cover, top cover, original air cleaner (had a K & N on it). I used the ignition from it, sold the carb and intake and muffler from it. I have the rest left.

It looks like the 119 is the same bore and stroke.

i cant find a 120 barrel anywhere here in oz. i think i might try the bigger bore barrel a try make it work

Let me double check it to make sure its in the shape I think it's in. I'd also put new rings in regardless.

Do you have a good source for rings?? I usually have rings on hand but this is an off size of 49mm so I don't have.

that will be great. i think there are some on ebay, do you have the piston as well? do you think the gudgeon will be the same? i will be in bed i think, its 10.15 pm here

Here are the pic's. Cylinder is clean (hard to see),piston is good, wrist pin and bearing & clips. Rings are worn with .025 end gap. They are 49 x1.5
