I just bought a chain saw & was wondering what the proper mixture was, or is ? 32-1, 40-1 ,50-1, 25-1 ?

Seriously, though... How many cans of mix do you think the local repair shop has on hand? Do you honestly think they have a different 2-cycle mix for every brand of saw or string trimmer? F**K NO!!! They have ONE can of mix gas for EVERY BRAND of 2-cycle engine! I checked many years ago, the 2 biggest repair shops in town both use STIHL 2-cycle oil mixed at 50-1. One of the mechanics told me that when he mixed the fuel, he mixed it closer to 40-1.
