I have for now solved me loosing any more screw drivers; I purchased a felo screwdriver kit has allen, torxs, and philips amd flat is a nice metal case great handle I LOVE THIS SET. It did set me back some, but when the kids play with it I will take the house apart to find the missing peice when I drop it in the septic tank I go fishing; everyone in my house knows that we will not play or loose any or I will cry and pout and stop the world until i find that screw driver. Its worked for about five years now and I have all whole set. I do still have about 3 dozen stanley screw drivers around here some where ?????

We need a transformer tool all in one it is a screwdriver, impact, hammer, skill saw, chain saw etc that way you only have to keep up with one tool what you think<a href="http://www.sweetim.com/s.asp?im=gen&lpver=3&ref=11" target="_blank"><img src="http://content.sweetim.com/sim/cpie/emoticons/000203FA.gif" border="0" title="Click to get more." ></a>

Bolt cutters/Tire tools/leak down tester (in its armored case)

Second too box....(Compression gauges hang from the top)
1/4 and 3/8 sockets, extensions, and ratchets plus taps and specialty sockets
Flat screw drivers
Philips screw drivers
Needle nose pliers/dikes
Regular pliers/channel locks
Fat jaw and electrical pliers
Vice grips/adjustable wrenches
Stihl specialty tools
Vacuum and pressure draw

And ALL are over filled and I keep thinking, man I need another box...

Since you know what is gay and what isn't, please tell us all about your vast experience. ;)

The tools are clean because they have never been put away dirty. With more than $10,000 invested in tools I figure I should take care of them.

And just for you Rope, in case you thought you might start cracking on how clean and new my tools look, in a former life I spent 10 years as a proffesional motorcycle mechanic. The tools and box will have their 20th birthday next spring.

When you spin wrenches for a living you better be able to lay your hands on each tool instantly. Working against a flat rate every second spent looking is a second spent losing money.

I have one multi-use tool that I keep fair track of. Gets used some, but could use a little more attention. Maybe it needs to be lubed again. and again?

Can you over lube one?

Why is it, when I am working on a chainsaw, or anything else for that matter, and I open the screwdriver drawer in my tool box, I get the following result:
When needing a flat blade screwdriver, I can only find phillips.
And when looking for a phillips, all I can find is a flat blade.
And invariably, for either application, finding the correct size tip takes a lot of looking.

Since you have all the tools you are looking for (otherwise you would be out buying), you may be experiencing bad Karma or you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I'm sure you have some days when everything just falls into place and all tools are found readily. No spills, frozen fasteners, cussing, cuts and bruises. Everything just falls into place. Celebrate those days for they are few and far between. Then your wife asks you at 3pm where is the roast she asked you to take out of the freezer.

Because we don't put them back!

Absolutely true

My variation on this theme is when I go work for someone else as a favor, I pack up all the tools I think I'll need into tool bag to take with me. Don't you know, that the screwdriver I need is always the last one I pull out of the bag!!!

The hint is in the word "drawer". Fill it up. Lots of screwdrivers. You have enough screwdrivers when, on average, you always find what you want when you open the drawer. Of course, this means that when you round up all of the screwdrivers in the garage, you can't close the drawer. Such is life.

Precisely, I have to shuffle them every time I try to close mine, too.
