Shopping for a Mill

I'm not currently shopping, but when I am I know where I'll spend some time... at the Sunbelt Expo that takes place every year about 25 minutes from my home. www.sunbeltexpo.com

I took my 4yr old daughter there yesterday to look at all the ag equimpent and livestock and such and there were about 8 or 10 sawmill outfits there with all thier gear running demos and selling equipment.

It would be a fantastic way to check them all out within 100 feet of each other, run them, etc...

We hit 'em on a run but it was cool to see them all.

Expo lasts 3 days every october.

you're lucky to have that opportunity.
my local woodworking club(liwoodworkers.org)
throws a show every year. the woodmeizer guys are usually out front demo'ing. but no others.
it would be real nice to see a shoot-out with a dozen or so all together.
these things are big bucks(for me ) and ya really want to know you made teh best choice for yourself.
