Anyone have one, or has anyone used one?? I am needing to move a pretty large amount of wood, both to sell as logs, and about 80 cords of firewood, still in log form. Anyone tried anything like the one bailey's sells?? Anyone tried anything comparable??
Thanks,
greg

I havn't used the grapple like the one in bailey's, but it looks like a real nice setup.
I have a Thomas grapple bucket on my 863. It works realy well. I can slide the bucket under the end of the log and close the grapple on it and it will drag a pretty big log with no trouble. Larger logs will wedge between the tines on the grapple, and you can clamp a tine in the center of smaller logs.
I like the grapple bucket because I can skidd the logs, load the logs, and then smooth out the road, or ground without changing impliments.

I have one made by solbie, very good grapple. Try-ed the cheaper ones, not impressed.
