Drug up some very pretty 1,000# Red Oak logs this weekend. Unfortunately had to pull them up a pretty steep grade that I can NOT get equipment dow to get them out cleanly. Some dirt and a few rocks in the bark. I am looking to hit these with the chainsaw mill this weekend, but want to know if using a pressure washer on these is a smart idea first. Not really looking to maintain a Live Edge on these slabs, would be nice , button't think I will be able to.

Any thoughts as to doing this?

Thanks again.

So you think a pressure washer is ok for cleaning them up prior to milling?

Shouldn't be a problem. But maybe let them sit a few hours/overnight so they aren't dripping wet. Just be sure to check/sharpen the chain enough. If it dulls too quick, there may be dirt/rock in there you aren't seeing.

And if the bark peels off easy enough, just do that.
