Solo 634

I have a Solo 634 I paid 10 dollars for at a yard sale about five years ago. The thing has a 3/8 sprocket on it but all the bar and chains I can find for it are .325 pitch. Thought about changing sprockets but no one carries them. Guess I know why I got it so cheap now.

I have been very happy with the solo saws I own. They have been well built. Try contacting Solo at their USA headquarters (757) 245-4228. Parts can be difficult to find locally, but they are easy to get via phone/online.

Most of my saws take the small Husqvarna mount bar. You might check a bar for a small husky in 3/8 low profile chain. If the sprocket your saw has isn't too warn to use again, that is. I suspect that saw was set up to run the lo-pro 3/8 chain, not the full size.
