I went to buy a wood lathe this weekend from the estate of a gentleman who did Timber framing. While loading the lathe and checking out the other tools in this man's shop I stumbled upon what I believe is part of a sawmill attachment. The internet search I did showed the company to be out of business or no longer active. It does not match any of the photos I could find relating to the company but obviously attaches to a chainsaw in some fashion. Is anyone familiar with this particular tool? Hoping to see what this device does or is intended for.

That is only half of the mill, should be another piece that looks similar. It was a two chainsaw mill. Do another search, I came up with links to other forums that had pics. I would post the links but I think that is a no-no...

Looking at the pictures it appears that the mill is designed to be mounted on holes of that mill spacing on any saw bar. I would buy an older roller nose bar and drill two holes for mounting. Use a carbide bit to drill the holes with plenty of oil when drilling.
