I just got a sprocket bearing for my Husq 359 from Bailey's (part #ORSB 11893 05) and it is about 1/8" shorter (cage width) than the stock bearing which is the full length of the clutch cup/spline.

Is this correct? Will using a short cage allow it to move back and forth and create wear? Just wanted to check to see if something isn't right before using it or sending it back.

thanks, Jake

I pulled a bearing off the shelf and the length is approximately 1/2". If yours is shorter than this, we mis-picked your bearing. If the bearing you have on there is longer than a 1/2", is it the bearing that came stock on the saw. If it is the stock bearing, it would be strange because the stock drum and parts used by Husqvarna are manufactured by Oregon. Let us know, and we'll get you fixed up.
