Stihl 021 Cuts Out. Pls Read Below

Fresh gas. Starts eezee. Revs up good. Fuel line good shape. Spark plug good. Here's what happens.
Use the saw for 15 minutes or so until it's good and hot. You put it down on the ground and it idles down to an rpm that sounds good and healthy.
OK, pick up the saw. The act of picking up the saw makes it cut out. Will start up again with 2 or 3 pulls. But it's becoming a PIA every time I put it down.
Any ideas on this BS? Thanks

Usually a case of fuel pooling when sitting on the level, pick it up and the engine stalls, try leaning out the L setting on the carb just a bit, like 1/8 to 1/4 turn in clockwise, try running the saw again.

Check for leaky seals..

Increase the idle speed till the chain moves, then back it off a tad.

If you pick up the saw nose up does it still stall? If not it is likely fuel pooling in the manifold. Raise the idle a bit and/or lean out the "L" slightly.

Easy stuff first. Check fuel for water (yeah i know MY fuel never has water!).
Then adjust as stated above. If that don't repair the issue, then go further.
