Stihl 028 AV Super...... air filter question

Recently came into possession of a nice 028 AV Super. I've read where people have had problems with the filter clogging easily and causing the saw to run ****** or stall. I pulled the filter and it looks like it's on its way... was running a little rough too. I looked online and there's lots of different versions for oem or replacement filters.. some are like oem some have metal screen material on outside.

My question is.. whats the best replacement? I'm leaning towards the metal screen outside style.. feel like it would be real easy to blow off and keep cutting.. any input would be appreciated

buy the original one from Stihl not aftermarket and get the flocked one- it stops dirt better. The metal ones dont stop the fines as much
most people say the will clean their filters, but rarely do
