this is a good little saw,but has a plastic gas tank that is leaking
at the seam. did they ever make a metal gas tank? what can be done
short of a new tank. really dont want plastic. help!!!!!! thanks nfp

i had a leaky gas tank on my dad's ecco and i had good luck using a hot screwdriver and melting the crack back together. but that is a good fix when nothing is open to get epoxy and you need the saw.

epoxy is working for now,im pricing tanks. this looks like a 2 pc tank put together w/something? thanks to all,nfp

if it is a 2 piece tank chances are the seal between the two pieces is bad. in a bind you can make a new seal out of a brown paper bag and htat will work for ya. or you could use some gas resistant RTV.
