Well I checked the piston and it appears to be the exact same as the one I removed from the saw. However I checked the bearings and they both wiggle side to side, so I seems that these need to be changed. How do I remove the old bearings?

Lateral movement in a bearing is expected. Movement up and down is a bad thing.

Hi, I have two really great looking Stihl jugs 45mm for early 029but cant find Meteor pistons for that one, Closest they have iOS for a Husky 254. Stihl dealer wants $80 but only $32 for a piston and ring kit for my 391? weird. any good source for the 45mm piston and rings ? Never bought Chinese and really scared of them. Thanks guys
