Stihl 041 recoil starter assembly wanted.

My 40 year old 041 AV needed a new pull rope. I have installed it but now am only getting about a 4" pull.
I have rewould and tensioned the spring several times with the same result.

Thinking a new assembly might be the way to go. Anyone know where to locate one. Also like to have the oem part # as it would help to make sure I purchase the right part.

Sounds like you need a new spring and a longer rope.
