Stihl 046 question

I have a 046 that has a broken tank handle. Does a 044 and 066 tank fit? Are there any other tanks that fit? Thanks in advance for your help.

The 044 might fit but, overall its not as wide. I dont think the 066 will.

The tank from the 044 and MS 440 will fit, the carb studs will need to be exchanged to the 046 tank to accomodate the heavy duty filter, the 044 tanks hold less fuel, they are narrower. The 066 tank will not fit at all.
