Just documenting the piston refresher on my 066. I didn't change any ports other than cleaning the carbon out of the exhaust port. Here's a few pics.

Finally finished it up last night and ran about a tank and a half through it today. Started perfectly, 2 pulls choke, 2 pulls throttle lock. Dialed the carb in and put it in some wood.

Story on the saw; I bought it locally a few months ago. The previous owner said it just had a new stihl piston and cylinder put in less than a year ago, it is a newer decomp cylinder with the decomp plugged. He also said the month prior to me buying it he had the dealer put a new carb on it, it does look new. I noticed some marking on the piston so I decided to do a meteor piston and rings. I also put a new elastostart on it, and cleaned her up a bit.

Here are some crappy pictures.

Now I just need to decide if I should keep it or not. I don't ever see myself needing a saw of this size and I already have the 064 anyway. I'll have to think about this one...
