Brad you probably know the answer but you want me to read 100's of post that you went to the trouble of doing a search to find for one bit of info that may or may not be correct,thanks a lot.
I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking all the differences in the 066 with flywheel and plastics. My bad. Do you have a saw with a missing flywheel or are you trying to determine what a particular saw has?
 
I finished a 066 today and went to test in some wood, pulled the rope and locked up. I put new screws in the top cover and one happened to be a little long, broke half the fins off. I think I have both types to go back on it and was thinking that one might have a weight difference that would effect the balance like on a car engine.
I found in your search someone said a poly flywheel would not fit on a older case.
