Yup your right it is a ms 460 after I cleaned up the top cover you can nearly make it out but did they make a magnum?

They sure did- adding a Magnum sticker made no difference to the saw- but marketing wise it sure helped sell a few!
Plus, add the beating that saw has seen during its life and the air box cover might be off any of that series saw- may even be a 660 Magnum air box cover.........

Well I redid the compression test it's good and took muffler off no scoring

Some cheap cans of Stihl grey- or a complete strip down, bead blast and powder coat- how deep is your wallet?
Or, "new" Farmertec exterior bits.
