stihl 066 problem

I bought a 066 a few months ago , did a lot of work to it and it runs like a beast. only problem is that the selector switch a lot of times will not stay in the run position , a flip of the trigger and it pops itself into off , its very annoying and pisses me off. not sure where to look on this . if I stick a piece of something in around the switch so it cant bump up into off it works perfectly.


the selector switch plastic part is a new stihl oem part.

Go to the beg for manuals thread in chainsaw stickies, download the IPL and shop manual. Make sure you have all the correct parts and in the right order.
