Thinking about selling one of my babies, this saw literally has only ever seen a few hours of runtime, i am selling it as powerhead only. It was acquired from someone i knew that passed away years ago who happened to work for the gov, he had 2 very large trees he wanted to take down on his property and "borrowed" this saw to do the job, needless to say it never found its way back. From what i know the saw was new when he got it, used it for what he needed it for and was stored wrapped up in an old blanket in his garage until i acquired it from him shortly before his passing. I don't need to sell this saw nor do i really want to but it is here for now if someone is serious enough about buying it. Compression is 150psi, the paint loss on the recoil starter is actually from me blowing it off with compressed air nozzle. Its about as cherry as you will find one with out being restored or nos. Nothing is broken everything works as it should, there are some marks on the bar handle i do not know where they came from or how they got there. This saws runs well and just feels very tight like a new saw would, any questions or more pics please feel free to ask, i would like to see this sold to someone here who will keep it in one piece and enjoy it, i will not sell it on another site so someone can strip it down and make money on the parts. Thank you.20180509_153840.jpg 20180509_153853.jpg 20180509_153905.jpg 20180509_164933.jpg 20180509_165009.jpg 20180509_165104.jpg 20180509_165040.jpg20180509_164508.jpg20180509_164508.jpg20180509_191545.jpg20180509_192722.jpg

Futher down the skirt is clean i can get more pics up soon, cant see any transfer at all. Will post more pictures soon

20180509_192728.jpg Another photo of the comp guage, i noticed when i grabbed my guage it would leak a little pressure out of the quick disconnect, I have to look into that but either way i know the comp is at least 140psi and im not even sure if this was fully run in, carb setting were set at stock initial settings before break in

Pics of the serial number?

Why is the price a secret?
Its one of them mystery price for sale threads. I don't get why folks wanting to sell something dont just say, 'this is what I got and $$$ is how much I want 4 it'. Instead you get a full description of the type of bloke the previous owner was etc etc. It just don't smell right when people can't be straight up.

thanks for your opinion! I can smell it all the way over here in Pa! The mystery price is $1000 plus the ride. Are you interested in buying it?

Yeah i know, but there's nothing i can do about it now, its unfortunate he did that but must have been concerned about it coming back to him at the time he got the saw, unfortunately it is what it is, i know the saws history, if it doesnt sell because of it i am ok with that too, i know what it is and where it came from.

So, you know it's stolen, and so does everyone else, from the government no less... Congrats! Do you know that knowingly selling stolen property is a crime as well? Is this a joke?

You are talking about a saw is 25+ years old, the previous owner has been dead for almost 10 years, i understand what you are saying but in all reality, we are not talking about a new saw here. I dont understand what you are trying to get at with that comment.
