Sold Stihl 460 Parts or Rebuild Saw For Sale

Saw turns over smooth, no play in the crank bearings. Saw was logger owned and well used. Some parts have been hijacked by the previous owner and the saw is dirty. No knowledge of compression reading. The piston has carbon marks and what appears, by picture, to be a scratch or two. Pistons rings are clearly unmarked and freely moving. I do not know if the saw is indeed a magnum. What is seen in the pictures are all the parts to be shipped. Great candidate for a rebuild. Looking to get $275.00 (shipping included) to the lower 48.

It is what it is. Some see it as a diamond in the rough. In the right hands, that saw can shine and fell many board feet of logs. In the wrong hands "Thats rough".

I agree, I gave $130 a couple of months ago for a strong running 460 with a 25" bar and chain.

130 is not the going rate for a working or non working ms460. That saw is rough looking. But I have seen worse sell for more on the bay.
