Stihl EDT6 Digital Tachometer

I have for sale my Stihl EDT6 Digital Tachometer.

Has not been used for 15 years as I gave up small engine mechanics and went into Mining. It was used for about 3 years when I worked as a Stihl dealer and I look after my tools. I only bought quality tools and mostly Snap-on. The only mechanics I do now is on my car and Boat and both have tachos.

It is in good condition and only has minor marks on it. I am selling for $100 Australian at your money this is about US$70 and it would only cost about AU$10 postage as it it so small. It will be posted on ebay at a starting 'buy now' price of $100 AU.

Stihl EDT6 tachometer

Sorry gents, I just tested it again and unfortunately it looks like very flat battery. Worked fine when I posted this, then I tested again about 5 minutes ago and it faded like a flat battery.

I am trying to find out how to sort this. For now I obviously wouldn't sell it and I have to unfortunately tell someone just that on ebay who just bought it. Very embarrising, but best to find out now before I sent it.

I bought a Dixson Model 1082 wireless Tach for 2-cycle engines. Works great on chain saws and Solo backback powered sprayers. Think I paid around $100 for it.

While we are on tach, would the $30.00 ones on ebay be serviceable for occasional work on saws. Thanks Tom
