I've noticed one of the 028's I have has a very high idle when the gas tank is low so am assuming the fuel line is shot and is drawing air? The last time I replaced a fuel line was a very time consuming effort. I'd sure like to know how you guys replace the fuel line and filter. I used a piece of twine with a lasso on one end to snare the filter and pull it up out of the tank but seems like that's an awful lot of pulling on the rubber gas line. Is there an easier way? Hints or tips are really appreciated.

I use 12 gauge wire with a tight loop at the end, seems to work pretty well!

On 028's I fish a piece of throwline into the tank and put it into the fuel line. Pull the line thru as much as possible and then I use the end of one of my wifes wooden spoons to help push from inside the tank as I pull it into place.
