Stihl HD air filter stud breakage

Is it common for the air filter stud/aluminum base to break at the bolt holes, my ms650 broke at the recoil side bolt hole and my Stihl guy says he's seen it alot on saws with the HD filters. Anyone out there with a better alternative? Billet or different air filter altogether.

Vibration plays a big role in the filter flange breaking. They also break often when guys drop the saw or have a limb/tree top hit the filter cover.

As far as custom replacements, I haven't heard of anything but a guy could try making his own.
