What are the HP's of an 029,044?Or the formula to convert kw to hp?

I am unsure I think the 029 is like 3.4 hp the 44 don't have a clue.

but 1 hp is equal to 746watts or .746 kw.

you can also go to google and it will convert almost anything for you

just type in 3.4 horsepower to kilowatts. which would be 2.5kw of course a little is lost in the transition but close enough.

290 hp = 3.8
440 hp = 5.4

The 044 is about 5 1/2 HP, the 029 doesn't really matter. Who cares about the HP of a boat anchor?

Early 044's were 5.0 or 5.1. That saw has actually be through a lot of changes in it's tenure.

029 is 3.75 from what I've remember, but that hp can go up or down each year a little bit.

Edit: I just saw Just Mow's post. Didn't read it before. I guess the 290 has gone up a bit.
