Stihl MS 261 C-M Availability

This saw has been out of stock locally for many months. Is other areas running short on the MS 261 C-M?

Murdoch's has quite a few with the 18" B&C, and very limited outfitted with the 20" B&C. Get it while you can, the prices just went up.

I bought a new 261cm I think in July last year, and a 151tc a couple of months later, and my local dealer here in Arkansas was really low on inventory in general. When I got my 261cm he had 3 in stock, and was out of the 261’s when I got the 151. I went back in a couple of months after my 151 purchase to pick up a couple of chains, and he had like 5 saws in stock period.

Nope. Just bought one on my 14th birthday. Love it.

Seem plentiful now and I have bought a 261 CM. Nice saw.
