Hey all. I recently put a Walbro 215 carb on my ms170 that I got for free after I drilled out the muffler. It’s not an actual Walbro, but a Chinese knockoff. The damn thing will burble with the choke on and will run ok, but rich at WOT, but only if the high end screw is like 4 turns out! The low end screw, if pulled almost all the way out will idle for less than a second. I followed Blsnellings info in his original thread, plugged the original impulse passage and drilled out the brass plug for the new passage (although only about 80% of the brass plug could I drill out.) Any ideas on why this thing won’t run? Cheap carb biting me in the hind end?
