I took the alloy cap off with drywall screw and the plastic spline cracked when I tried skipping splines like I have heard to do. well I could just put the allen H screw back in and it will work but i would like to have the alloy cap back on so i can use the screwdriver to adjust. no big deal but would like to keep my saw adjustments to just a screwdriver and no allen wrench. what do you think?
