Stihl MS440 will not idle

Our chainsaw ministry has a Stihl ms440 that will not run with less than half throttle. the engine start normally and run OK highspeed. It seems like it loads up very rich and dies suddenly when speed is reduced. Thanks for help, Jimmy

Saw running great

I had cleaned the carb and saw still wounld not run slow speed or idle. Joe on another forum gave instructions on how to check and clean the carb jet valve and that solved the problem.
