Stihl ms660 won’t idle

Stumped here fellas if someone could step in with suggestions
I’ve got a Stihl ms660 that won’t idle unless it’s given a bit of throttle, and then it’ll stall and needs choke to restart. I’ve swapped out three different carbs, three different coils, checked the tank vent operation, and even replaced the vent, but it still has the same symptoms..any ideas?

Use fresh fuel and inspect the fuel lines, better yet pressure test the fuel line. It's starving for fuel, so either a delivery problem or weak impulse.

Would'nt impulse just be required for initial starting? I agree to check/test fuel lines, pick-up and intake components, something is leaking.

+1 on that. Ask me how many hours I wasted learning that...

Id definatly check that impulse.

Id defitly pressure or vac check it. Before spending much time replacing parts.

Try adjusting the idle. Not sure if your 660 is the same as mine but it's the bottom screw hole of the 3 adjustment screws
