ok so the non pro saws aren't so popular here but I'm wondering if anybody has done a timing advance on one. specifically the ms180. these saws have the 'key' cast inside the flywheel and from the little i've been able to find, its not a great idea to try and file it down. has anybody done something else? swapping the coil to another or filing the coil mounting slots or maybe filing the mounting bolts down to get a bit of wiggle room and shift the coil round a few millimitres. If so was it enough to atually make a difference?
